Optimist International Foundation

President's Club

Individual's may join the President's Club by making an initial gift of $250 and pledging to reach the $2,500 cumulative level of giving within a five year period. Membership renewals are $250 annually. In order to use current life-to-date (cumulative) contributions to go towards the $2,500, the donor must reach the $2,500 level by the end of the Optimist year in which he/she joins the club. Donors receive a prestigious lapel pin and are recognized at the annual Optimist International convention with a special reception.

Print Program

For a donation of $500, an individual, business, or club receives a signed and numbered lithograph, which is from an original work of art. The painting is a different reflection of children each year and is commissioned by the Foundations. Donors are presented with the lithograph at district meetings.

Friends' Society

The Friends of the Optimist Foundations' Society recognizes the continued generosity of Optimist Foundation donors. A Friend of Today makes a minimum donation of $150 annually to the Foundations and receives a signed and numbered collector's plate. The plate reflects the children the Foundations' help through program funding and is different each year. Friends are given the opportunity to receive the same number of each annual series of collector's plates. Membership is renewed when the donor makes a $150 annual contribution. The collector plate is shipped directly to the donor.

An individual may also join the Friends' Society as a Friend of Tomorrow by signing a written commitment that a deferred planned gift has been made to the Optimist Foundations.

Members of the Friends' Society are recognized at the Optimist International Annual Convention.

President's Pin

The President's Pin is uniquely designed each Optimist year to represent the annual theme of the Foundations' program. Donors receive the lapel pin by contributing $25 or more annually. Pins are presented at club and district meetings.
